"This is the first song I wrote after moving into a new house. It's so tempting to start the writing process in front of the computer these days with plug-ins and midi. Since I hadn't plugged anything in at the new house, I was forced back to the acoustic guitar which turned out pretty well.  Lyrics hadn't been completed yet so the 'I make it up' part was jibberish with no real relevance to the song's story. The final studio version shows up on 'Slow Leak at The Seam' with great duet vocals from Chicago singer songwriter Lexi Sherr." —Dave
